However, if you’re looking to invest in digital marketing this year, one of the best places to start is by creating engaging video content. But, the question that always comes up is how do you make sure that video marketing leads to real results?
If you want to learn seven ways to use promo videos for lead generation, then keep reading.
1. Social Media
The first way to use promo videos for businesses is through social media. Having a well-put-together video that shows that you are an expert in your field can be a great way to get leads for your company.
With such a large number of people scrolling on social media every day you have lots of potential customers. Plus uploading videos to social media doesn’t take long, so you can upload multiple pieces of video content daily.
One way you can get started is by taking a video of yourself or someone else promoting your business’s benefits, features, and solutions.
You can also create smaller videos out of bigger videos by cutting them down and editing them. It is worth noting that your video should stand out, so use good video topics and thumbnails to help you with this.
2. YouTube
Another great way to get more sales is by uploading engaging videos to YouTube. Again, like social media, YouTube is still as popular as ever, and it has a constant stream of viewers.
Getting started with a YouTube channel is fairly simple and it doesn’t take long to create one. On your channel, you can showcase reasons to become a client or customer, and why your product or service is unique.
You should focus on promoting the best parts of your product or service including the benefits and features. The length of your YouTube videos is up to you, so you can create short and long videos and see what works best.
Plus in the description box below your video, you can add links to your website that people can follow.
3. Landing Pages
The third way you can get more leads and sales through video promotion is by using videos on landing pages. If you get the right content then this can be a game-changer for you.
To use a video on your landing page, simply create promotional video content and upload the video to your landing page. You can edit your video to focus on certain problems and solutions that your business provides.
The great thing about landing page videos is that you can track how it is performing. So if it isn’t doing as well as you would like, then you can edit it to make it better.
Also, video content can be very engaging and most people prefer to watch videos over reading text. This means that you can turn a bad landing page into a good landing page using video and create more opportunities for sales.
4. TikTok
TikTok is one of the fastest-growing platforms in recent years and for good reason. The great thing about TikTok is that it keeps things short and sweet. So when it comes to uploading video content on TikTok, you want to have attention-grabbing videos.
From a quick three-minute video, someone can become familiar with your product or service. So it’s important to make your video unique and it should showcase why your business is so good.
Consider some of the top problems, features, and benefits that you offer, then include them in short snappy videos. You can also create a following on TikTok so you can continue promoting your video content to your viewers.
This can create more opportunities for people to buy your product or service.
5. Online Advertisements
Another highly effective way to promote your business’s video content is by using online advertisements. Some platforms that allow this include Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, and more.
With video ads, you can target a specific type of customer, so you can make your promotional video more personalized. Again, we recommend that you include the best features and benefits within your videos.
You can also track your video advertisement so if it isn’t performing well you can adjust your promotional content to make it better.
This allows you to get to know what your audience responds to which ultimately results in more sales and leads.
6. Add Promotional Videos to Your Website
A great way to promote your business is to include promotional video content on your home page. This can work a lot better than text and it can give people a much better insight into what your business offers.
Having a high-quality video is an effective way to make your website look more professional.
If you sell anything online, then you can promote it through video to get more leads and sales.
There are also multiple kinds of promotional videos that you can use, for example, case studies, how-to tutorials, the creative process behind your product or service, and much more.
7. Testimonials
The last way to promote your business is by using video testimonials. This gives your product or service more proof and credibility, as it showcases your client’s experience.
All you have to do is get a client or customer to discuss their experience with your business. Video testimonials don’t have to be long, you can make them anywhere from 30 seconds up to a couple of minutes.
The key thing is that you want the testimonial to showcase how beneficial your product or service is.
This can be an effective way of getting people interested in becoming a client or customers which results in more leads and sales.
